C.C.... Chic Copy!

So, does this coat  below look familiar to you?  Actually, does this model resembele anyone you might know?

I (like many other people) am kind of obsessed with Kate Middleton!  I have coveted the trench coat that was seen around the world.  But, sadly Burberry is a bit out of my price range.

Imagine my surprise yesterday, while perusing the mall with my family, I spotted this amazing "copy".  It was sold out (only size XS on manequin) in the store and is sold out online.  What the what!?  This is truly the best "inspired by" creation of this coat I have seen.  For $89 bucks, who would not want this?

Z.... is for Zara!

Okay... I have exciting news.  You can now shop online at Zara!!!   I have loved Zara since I studied abroad in Paris.  After that when my parents would go abroad I would give my mom my size and insist she go there and buy me things... whatever.   I was not picky as I love all the stuff there.

I was pretty excited when the came to the States.  First it was just New York, but in recent years they have popped up at a few malls around here.    But, I am an avid online shopper and I often feel like Zara stores never have my size in the items I want.

Did I mention that I love Zara?  Here are just a few reasons why!

E.... Eyeing! Maxi Skirt...

So, August means the end of summer.  Yes, I am Debbie Downer.  Well, don't worry we have the whole month to go!  For as long as I can remember.... August meant "back to school" shopping.  Even though I no longer go back to school, I still love fall shopping!!

I have been eyeing a maxi shirt for a while but could not find a summer version that suited me.  But, I am loving this fall version!  I have never bought anything from ASOS.... have any of you?

I love that this skirt is still shapely.  I wish it came in black, but I do like the grey.  I love the idea of a long skirt .... you don't have to wear tights or what not.  Throw on some boots and done! :) I am getting sick of my summer clothes.  Until next time...xoxo

So, when I was growing up one of my favorite things was "back to school" shopping with my mom and sister.  There is something about fall as a simple of a new season and beginning of a new year- even if we are all not in School anymore!  One of our favorite stores was "The Limited".  We could easily do some damage in that store.  I was heartbroken when the Limited left our local mall.  You can still find some Limited stores, but they are few and far between.  The good news is that you can shop "The Limited" online now which is great for me.  I LOVE online shopping!

Yesterday, I talked about my love for pink and gray right now.  It is classic yet feminine and soft.  I am craving really simple style right now.  I cannot wait to have a waistline again.... countdown is on!

Forever 21 is kind of like my dirty little secret.  Yes, I am 33 years old and I shop at Forever 21!  I don't get my whole wardrobe there, but I do get some key pieces.  I will say that it has been especially good during my pregnancy because they have a lot of inexpensive billowy pieces that are bump friendly!

I was perusing online and found some really cute options.... I love fall shopping!  I get a lot of "under shirts" at Forever 21.  Since I have to dress business dress at work, Forever 21 is great for getting cute shirts to wear under a suit or cardigan... to spice things up!

R is for Repeat! Fashion!

So, a lot of the fall fashion right now is a nod to the past.  My favorite fall trend is the "ladylike" style!  It is a total shout out to the time of housewives, secretaries and all things ladylike!  Given that I have an affinity for vintage fashion, this is totally up my alley!

Full skirts, belted dresses.... oh my!

L.L.... Bean that is! Signature Line!

My friend "SN" alerted me to a new "find" last week.  She got an LL Bean Catalog in the mail (but as she described it)- it was so much more stylish and hip than what we know LL Bean to be!  She is so right.  LL Bean apparently came out with a "Signature" line.  Style List describes more fully what this new line is all about.  In short, "This men's and women's clothing line reworks longstanding favorites, introducing a trimmer, more polished look."

They have some REALLY cute things that are screaming fall for me.  I LOVE fall shopping.  I think it brings me back to my youth when my mom would treat my sister and I to some "back to school" fashions.  Shopping for fall was a big event for us.. and that has stuck with me!
