S...Shoe update!

So, remember a few weeks back I mentioned the adorable espadrilles I got on sale at Talbots?  Well, I might have been naughty and bought a secon pair.   Did I mention they were on sale?  Well, a few of the ladies in my office also treated themselves to a pair! 

Aren't we a stylish shoe bunch?  I love that we all got different colors too!

S... Shoe of the Day!

Ooh.... summer.... how you bring such cute shoes!  I recently stumbled (pun intended) upon an adorable espadrille.  I am obsessed with espadrilles!  These babies are on sale too.  What is not to love.?

I picked up these babies in purple (my favorite color) for $32 (originally $89).   They have a plethora of colors... if purple is not your thing!   I love you Talbots!

L.B.D..... Little Black Dress!

Even though I basically missed this whole winter as I was locked inside my house in sweatpants, I cannot wait for spring!  I was pregnant last spring/summer so I lived in maternity clothes.  I am eagerly awaiting the warm weather when you can put on dresses and skirts (sans tights), get a pedicure and whip out cute sandals!

I think I have mentioned before that Talbots is rocking these days.  Like J Crew and Ann Taylor- they seem to have an updated hip look.  They used to be kind of "mom-ish", but now they are chic and stylish.   Check out these perfect little black dresses that I have my eye on!

Spring... have you sprung?  Probably not.  My husband took his snow tires off this past weekend which can only mean we are in for at least one more big storm! :)  Until next time....xoxo

T is for Trend... skirt lengths!

Did you see this article about how stock performance impacts skirt length trends?   It is quite entertaining.  Apparently if the economy is looking dark then skirt lengths get longer.  Well, I guess things are looking challenging because skirt lengths have dropped.   I am very much in love with this current hot trend of calf length skirts.  I have always preferred below the knee skirts.

The current runway trend of mid calf skirts is TOTALLY up my alley.  I think it is so lady like and classy. Here is the runway version!

I stumbled across this PERFECT calf length skirt at Talbots.  I love it.  It was originally $129 and is now on sale for like $30.  AMAZING.  I bought one... well okay.... more than one.  Plentiful color choices, well made and super cute!  This length is my favorite because you can wear it in the winter with boots and can get away with not wearing tights.  Of course, it does look good with tights and shoes too!

C is for Cold!

Baby it is cold outside here in Boston!  I am always a sucker for cute cold weather accessories.  My sister got me a great Christmas gift this year which included these freaking adorable gloves.  They are from Talbots and are on sale right now for $27.   I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!  She got me the gray, but they also come in black and oyster.

The sister, mom and I did our annual "day after Christmas" shopping trip.  This was the first time I have left baby Avery since she was born, but duty called! :)  We perused Talbots and I saw the freaking adorable hat that coordinates with the gloves.  Check it out!
