P... Presents... for me!

So, I was realizing recently that I never blogged about Christmas.  This is surprising as my husband did EXTREMELY well this year.... like so well it will be hard to beat next year.

I got  theseTory Burch flats that I had always coveted but was way to cheap to buy myself.   I had dropped some hints about these, but never thought he would buy them for me.  He always said he would NEVER buy me shoes as he thinks I have too many.  Too many?  Really! :)   These flats are so comfy, so versatile and so damn cute.  I love em'!

I also was shocked when he pulled out a Burberry gift  bag.  Love Burberry, but it is hard to find anything in that store less than $300.  He picked out this shirt for me all by himself and  I adore it.  I love Tunics.  I love that it has a hint of the classic burberry plaid.  I am saving it to wear some day when I won't be covered in druel, cheerios and god know what else!

Finally, I got some perfume from my favorite scent spot L'Occitane!  I love the scents at L'Occitane which I have talked about before.  Their scents smell fresh and clean and not too chemically!  He got me Pivoine Flora Eau de Parfum.   It is floral, but light and smells like actual flowers. 

Well done honey, well done.  You scored a perfect 10 on in the category of gift giving this year.  I am one lucky woman!

S.S.... Stocking Stuffer!

As I mentioned last week, I will share some stalking stuffer (or small gift ideas) over these next few weeks. I have had to "train" my husband on the art of the Christmas Stalking.  Stalkings were always been big in my house growing up.   The first year I was married, my husband took my stalking to Bath and Body Works and filled it with nothing but lotion.... LOTS of lotion.  I am still using much of that lotion!

The next year I gave him a very general list.  I focused him at Target (baby steps) and said things like:  a headband, earrings, a pair of socks, etc.  He did much better.  We will see what this year brings!

I think these slippers are super cute and look really comfy!

S is for Stick or Solid... perfume!

So, I stumbled across these very cute and very pretty smelling solid perfumes!  They are made by Crazylibellule & the Poppies.  Why do I love these?  They are frenchy french.... I love me something french.  They are the perfect travel companion.   It is a stick, not a liquid and not a gel! :)  For someone who travels a lot.... this is exciting.  They are also very reasonably priced (approximately $16 or so)... so you can keep one in your purse or wherever and reapply as needed.

They have a bunch of great scents.  If you like fruits or flowers or whatnot- they have you covered.  I have and love the Pompon Gardenia and the Lilas Spiritual (lilac).  I love the smell of fresh, not too perfumey flowers.  If you like sweeter smells check out  the Vanilla Lemon Pie scent or Dans Tes Bras (pinkberry, peach and patchouli).    Some are heavier than others- so you can try out a few to find your perfect scent.
