H.C.....Hand Cream!

So, here in New England it is starting to feel quite cold.  It is getting dark earlier and my skin is starting to feel that winter is coming soon!  I have been slathering on the hand cream.  I like a cream that is very moisturizing but not greasy and that smells amazing!

Here are a few of my recommended hand creams.

Love and Toast Hand Cream is a recent discovery.  The Gin Blossom scent is my favorite.

A cult favorite.  L'Occitane has lots of great scents, but the lavender is my favorite!

Lollia has AMAZING hand cream.  Smell is too good to describe!

Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy hand cream is delightful.
The Sleep (Lavender and Vanilla) scent is super relaxing!

These creams work great but also make you smell amazing.  Until next time....xoxo

S.B...Shea Butter... balm!

L'Occitane has come out with a new product which I have yet to try but it is on my wish list!  They have made these limited edition shea butter balms.  I LOVE the smell of L'Occitane products as I have mentioned before.  And...I love a good balm.

Use this shea butter on elbows, lips, cuticles, feet and even hair!  I love balms because they are so versatile!  The website even highlights 50 ways you can use this product.   It comes in scents of Apricot Flower, Vineyard Rose and Orange Honey each is $15 a pop.   Buy yourself one and tell me what you think.  This makes a great stocking stuffer too ..... honey are your reading? :)

Until next time...xoxo

D. S. S.= Dry Skin Solution!

Is your face dry? Tight? Cracked? I have the moisturizer solution for you! My mom recently mentioned that her skin is feeling the effect of skiing! Winter can do a number on your skin if you are not careful. I don't ususally have dry skin, but when winter is really here.... my face knows it and I need to switch to a more moisturizing cream. My new favorite- L'Occitane Shea Butter Ultra Rich Cream! I typically use this in the AM to protect and hydrate. I alternate with another cream in the evening. If you have really dry skin you can use in morning and evening. This cream is thick- so a little goes a long way and if you have oily skin... this is probably not for you!

This cream definitely makes my skin feel revived and healthier! New England winters.... evil!

Try it for yourself! You can get it at L'Occitane or Sephora!

Happy Hydrating! Until Next Time.... xoxo

F.F.P. - Frenchy French Perfume! L'Occitane!

Three years ago a tradition was started and I did not even know it! The husband and I were at the mall and stumbled into L'Occitane. He stated that I should get a perfume and so I tried on a few and we decided upon Cherry Blossom. It was early spring and it smelled just right for my frame of mind! It is soft and clean.... not too chemical or alcohol-ish. It smells femine and pretty with soft tones of cherry blossoms and freesia.

Cherry Blossom or Fleurs de Cerisier Eau de Toilette is just lovely!

The following Christmas, I was running low on my Cherry Blossom scent. The husband was stuck on what to get me, so I suggested he get me a new perfume at L'Occitane. I remembered that I loved most of the scents in that store, so I figured he could not go wrong. I was right. He got me the Feu de Orange (Blood Orange). It is a scent I would never have picked out for myself .... but I love it. It is the perfect fall or winter scent in that it just smells warm. It is a blend oils of the blood orange and other citrus fruits from the Mediterranean and has a touch of woodsy notes as well. I get more compliments on this scent than any other I have ever had. Often when I hug someone hello or goodbye, they pull away and say "you smell amazing", what is that? Men and women both love it!

Feu de Orange or Blood Orange.... is simply amazing!

This year, the husband picked me out another L'Occitane scent. This year it is Peach Blossom. As the website says "it smells like an orchard baked in sunshine".... .warm, crisp and clean. It is peachy without being too fruity and flowery without being too flowery. It is another favorite... I really think you cannot go wrong with L'Occitane scents. There are some I like more than others... but all are great!

Peach Blossom or Fleurs de Pecher.... my newest scent! Yummy!

While you are there.... get some matching hand cream! Their creams are also amazing! Until next time....xoxo
