S is for swimsuit...

Yes, swimsuit weather will be here before you know it!  Last summer I was pregnant, so this summer will be a "new season" in so many respects.  My bikini days are over.... even if I was happy wearing one, I cannot imagine carrying a baby around and being "active" in a bikini.  I am a practical gal!

I bought a cute bathing suit at Target a few years ago and was happy to see it back again in a tankini version and in a myriad of colors!  I had bought the black one a few years ago.  I now just bought the purple one (my favorite color) in the tankini version.  It is super cute- you can wear the strap (or not).  I think it is retro and hip and still cool for a young mom (well not that young).

There are other colors (slate, pink, red, teal) and also versions in stripes or polka dots!  For $34.99 (one piece) or &19.99 (tankini top) or $17.99 (bikini bottom).  I think it is practical, yet stylish!  Get a few!   Until next time.....xoxo

L! Liberty of London!

Okay, Liberty of London hit targets yesterday. I should have been in line at Target at 6:30 am, but was not. I was preparing for company and in truth to lazy to venture out in the pouring rain! My friend "S" though was there. She is die hard. She was there with Orla Kiely debuted too. She is hip and yes... she is cool.

Well, "S" said it was just plain crazy. But there was much love and bonding for those in love with the prints and flowers... and all things pink and purple! Liberty .... is from London... duh and is known for their super cheerful prints! For those that have been to the store in London.... excitement could not be contained for the American debut.

Liberty of London's line at Target included clothing (women, men, and children), throw pillows, duvet covers, dishes, picture frames, garden accessories, scarves, and so much more! I have not yet gotten the skinny on what "S" bought. It is my understanding that she bought a ton and then returned half of it as she went from store to store. Did I mention that she is die hard?

Perusing the website... lots of stuff is obviously already sold out, but... if it were not, I think these would be the items I would have purchased!

Love this wallet....cannot get enough of a kisslock close and the pattern... ooh! :)
This scarf rocks too. Yes, it is the same pattern as the wallet, but I just like this pattern... okay?

My husband would kill me if I brought this bedding home, but can we talk about how cute it is?

Hello adorable two tier tray! Wanna come home with mama?
The husband has been trying to get me to bike ride. I don't ride bikes. But, this one is so damn cute I might just reconsider!
This dress is a must have for my niece......so freaking cute!

This box would look killer in my downstairs bathroom.... on the back of the toilet. Love it!
Enough photos, you get the idea.... loads for adorable stuff! Here are some photos captured on site from the hip "S". "S" thanks for sharing!

Carriages full of florals... almost makes you forget all the rain! Until next time....xoxo

R is for Rugs.... @ Target!

I was flipping through my February House Beautiful Magazine... I stumbled across the prettiest rug! When I look down at the "where to buy" info... I was suprised to see Target. This Peony rug (left) looks so expensive, but really is quite reasonable ($297 for an 8 by 10).

Early in this blog I wrote about Dash and Albert which make my FAVORITE rugs! They are not SUPER expensive but are definitely an investment. Target however has some really cute inexpensive options! I tend to lean toward floral rugs, but if you like stripes or geometrics.... Target can meet your needs there too.

Check out some of the cute rugs from Target!

BBBBBBB Bullseye.... Target!

So, Accessorizing is where it is at! I always say I dress "plain" just so I can wear statement piece shoes and jewlery! I splurge on a quality item here and there.... my weakness is vintage jewelry. But, I also hit a variety of "chain" stores: Target, Forever 21, Macys, and so on for some quality fashion jewelry.

I have been eyeing some great jewelry at both Banana Republic and J Crew, but was not crazy about the pricetag! In search for some great but less expensive options- I perused Target and found some great items. Check it out for yourself! These blue and gold earrings to the left are my favorite! Soooo gorgeous and cheap!

Here are some of my favorite selections.

Consider them "Courtney's Picks" It is just as good as Rachel Zoe... right! :)

Statement piece- great with jeans and cute top!

Usually more of a silver than gold person- but this bracelet caught my eye!

Love clunky, love black, love silver, love this!

This is a great piece- very trendy right now. Layered, jeweled and flower!

These would be great with little black dress. They would steal the show! Very "Oscars"!

Run, run, run to your local Target! These items are so cheap- you can afford to get all of them!

Until Next Time...xoxo
