B is for Bedroom.... my decor needs spicing up!

Still searching for the perfect duvet to go with my new pillows.  I bought and returned one duvet from Overstock (color too bright) and just ordered another from LinenSource hoping the color will be a better fit.  Stay tuned.  In the meantime, I have determined that I hate my bedroom.  It lacks "life"... so I am working on a gallery wall that will perfectly compliment my bedding (when I find it) and the cute pillows (waiting to be displayed).  Shhh..... have not told the husband about any of this as he likes to argue and say he does not like things when in the end he ALWAYS does!  Well, almost always!

I want some color and personality like this! 

I have our silhouettes that will stay.  I bought a "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster on Etsy.  I am collecting some other "personal" stuff that will help make the gallery wall interesting and unique.  Like so much of my house, this is a work in progress!  Until next time....xoxo

I am wanting to add a little something to my bedroom.  It is lacking..... well.... something!  I am not really sure yet what I want to do or what direction I want to go in, but I am hunting for ideas!

I am amazed how many upholstered headboards I have saved!  They just add a nice "homey" feel to a bedroom and are much less expensive than their wood or metal counterparts!

T & B. Twin Beds!

Okay, I love twin beds. I want twin beds in our guest room. I have been trying to talk my mom into getting rid of her old and out of date bedroom set in my childhood bedroom and replace it with adorable twin beds. She has not yet listened. I think twin beds are practical for guests and they just look cute as can be!

I need to find a better way of saving inspiration photos! I just save photos in a file on my computer but don't do a good job or saving where I got the photo or I would give credit where credit is due! If you have suggestion on how to archive photos with info, do share! :)

B.C.....BED CROWN!

So, if you like simple clean and super modern aesthetics than you will hate this post. If you love soft, feminine and decorative decor... you will enjoy! One decor item that I am loving these days is a bed crown (also known as crown canopy or bed corona). They can be a bit over the top, but when done well they are sweet and soft and pretty!

I have this one (left) in my guest room. I got it at JC Penny! Sad to say I hung it in there a year ago... but never got the fabric! Gotta get on that!
